BioMy name is Ry. This journal is rarely used for myself; it was created as a window to connections with other people. But I realise that complete silence is daunting, so I am here to explain myself, once and only once.
I am both blessed and cursed with the ability to see past the mundane everyday, and into the bright-dark world underneath. I shroud myself in shadows so that I can keep an objective viewpoint. If you speak to me in your language, I will listen and understand. If you speak to me in my language, I will respond.
I am here to listen to you, to try and understand you. I want to understand, but sometimes I find it difficult. Be patient. I will always listen with tolerance and an open mind. Even if your beliefs conflict with mine, I will try to understand. But I will never blindly follow; my very nature forbids it.
If you have read thus far and are intrigued, welcome. If you are wary, know that I love you. Yes, it sounds strange - I don't even know you. But I say it freely and truthfully, because human souls are meant to be loved and love is much more powerful and less draining than hate. I know what love is. I have experienced every different kind, and all of them are me. Love is love; it exists for itself. Don't be afraid of it, or of me.
I look forward to conversations that last for days, inside jokes, and a connection unique to each person. Talk to me. I'm listening.
